Elephant

Elephant (approx. 347 g) — hand-carved from the soft Tella Poniki wood used for Kondapalli toys, then painted by hand. Made by artisans in Kondapalli, Andhra Pradesh, it is a display piece for a console table, bookshelf or curio cabinet. Because every piece is hand-painted, small differences in shade and finish are part of the craft.
