How we dispatch and deliver handmade Kondapalli toys across India and overseas — dispatch timelines, courier partners, packing, tracking and what we are and are not responsible for once a parcel leaves us.
Orders are dispatched within 6–8 business days of order and payment confirmation.
Delivery may be scheduled as per the date mutually agreed upon at order confirmation.
The window exists because these are handmade pieces, not warehouse stock. A figure may still be with the artisan family, or waiting on a coat of colour to dry properly before it can be packed. We would rather hold a piece two extra days than send it out half-cured.
All orders are delivered to the address provided by the buyer at the time of placing the order.
Delivery confirmation will be sent to the email ID specified during registration.
We cannot change a delivery address once a consignment has been handed to the carrier, so please check the address and phone number at checkout — a wrong or incomplete address is the single most common cause of a delayed delivery.
Wood and terracotta travel differently. A carved Kondapalli figure has thin projecting parts — a raised arm, a parasol, a bird on a stand — and a clay piece chips at the edges long before it cracks in the middle. Both are packed with that in mind.
Pieces are wrapped individually in tissue, padded with bubble wrap around the parts that stick out, and boxed so that nothing shifts in transit. Multi-piece sets are separated rather than stacked directly against one another. Larger festival and wedding sets are boxed in more than one carton where that is safer than forcing them into one.
A tracking number is emailed to you once the consignment is handed over to the courier or to Speed Post. Tracking is updated by the carrier, not by us, so it can sit unchanged for a day or two in transit before the next scan appears.
If tracking has not moved for several days, or the delivery date has passed, write to info@hesvikahandicrafts.com with your order ID and we will chase the carrier from our side.
Hesvika Kondapalli Toys is not liable for any delay in delivery caused by courier companies or postal authorities. Our responsibility is to hand the consignment over to the carrier within 6–8 business days of order and payment confirmation, or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation.
Once dispatched, delivery is subject to the norms and timelines of the respective courier or postal service. If a parcel arrives damaged, that is covered separately under our refund policy — photograph it and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
